Below you will find a post that I forgot to publish - sorry!!!! I guess I was trying to add pictures and the computer kept getting hung up! Thank you to Kristi for keeping her BLOG updated on what Carrigan has been doing!
Last night Carrigan had a game in Fayetteville and the team did awesome! Too bad they didn't have enough players because the team played so good. They didn't win but they came pretty close! The girls are all doing so well. We were all very proud of them last night.
Alan went back to the doctor this past Monday. His ears still aren't any better. He has another new medicine and if he does not show any signs of improvement by next Tuesday he will have to go back to the doctor and he will be referred to an ENT doctor. The medicine that he is on he has to take for 1 month. Of course anytime after next Tuesday and before his checkup if he's not better - he will have to see the doctor.
Carrigan went to the doctor today for her excema. It was just like last year at this time - she is having a bad break-out. She is starting back with her medicine and her daily routine of when to do what but this time the doctor is referring her back to the allergist to get more testing since it has been two years since the last time she was tested. Of course - she might be allergic to the pollen that has just started or something else and there might not be too much we can do for it but - we will see and we will try anything!!!
Alan can say several words -"Momma" "Daaaddeee" and "Hot". Those you can understand and he tries really hard to say "Thank you and Please". We can understand him but nobody else can. he is very quick to shack his head no and yes though! It is so cute!
I'm going to try to go to Kristi's within the next day or so and use her computer so I can include some pictures! Just wait until everyone see's Carrigan's airbrushed helmet!!!
Below I wrote on 3/14
Hello Everyone!
Things have been busy around here. Carrigan is really big into her softball now. She had her first game this past Saturday and although her team did not do very well - she had a great time! Actually, all of the girls had fun. They have another game tonight and then Saturday they will have their opening day parade. I've never been to an opening day parade but from what I hear- it's going to be a busy day and alot of fun.
Things sure are different then when I played - way back when!!!! For Carrigan to play ball we had to buy her a new glove and new cleats. If anyone read Kristi's BLOG then you would know - Carrigan was very specific on the colors that she wanted. She wanted a black and pink mitt and she really wanted purple and pink cleats but...guess what - they were no where to be found so she got black cleats instead. Then Tori - her best friend Bailey's mom - found Carrigan and Bailey black and pink bat bags to carry their things in. Tori did a great job - she even put the girls names on the bags! Well, Carrigan decided that she wanted a pink and black bat so the search was on. I found one and Carrigan said that it was perfect!!! She is such a mess! I'm not sure how much mom and dad paid for my softball gear but I can tell you - Carrigan's stuff was not cheap! I hope she gets many years out of the glove at least!!!!!!
Here are a couple of pictures of Carrigan at her very first softball game!!!!
I'll try to post more if my computer holds up this week!!!
Alan is still trying to get over his ear infections. Poor little guy - it's always something with him. We will be back at the doctor next week with him for a check-up to see if this medicine is working! I hope so!!! Rusty has been sick for the last several days and he finally went to the doctor and they have him on several different medicines to try and knock it out. I had pink eye last week and Rusty told me this morning that his eye is doing the same thing that mine did. Sorry honey - I tried to keep my hands clean and everything that I touched!!! Pink eye is not fun!!! Luckily Carrigan is well. Two weeks ago I did have to take her to the doctor for a sore throat but she is better now!
It's time to get ready for Carrigan's game. Rusty is one of the assistant coach's but tonight he is acting as the head coach since the other 2 head coaches have other obligations! Bailey's dad is also an assistant coach and he will be helping Rusty tonight!!! Thank you Mr. Brian!!!!! :-)
Check back in a couple of days and hopefully I will have some new pictures for everyone!
